CF1288 is an acidic liquid diluted with water to make up an operating solution to clean, condition,and activate copper.It is designed to be used in spray applications.  

    CF1288 is specifically designed for use on copper surfaces of printed circuit boards.It is especially effective for deoxidizing and activating copper prior to oxide treatment or resist application.
    CF1288 also can be used effectively to loosen and remove photoresist binder  residues from the copper surfaces of printed circuit boards. This residue is adherent to the copper circuit pattern after the applica- tion and development of aqueous or semi-aqueous dry film  photoresists. If this residue is not removed prior to subsequent chemical  surface treatments,poor coverage or  adhesion may result.CF1288 effectively removes this residual material.
